Łukasz Korolkiewicz
b. 1948 Artist painter, representative of Symbolic realism, Hyperrealism, New figuration. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1971), where he has been a lecturer since 1980, and a professor at the Faculty of Industrial Design since 1996. Scholar of the US Information Agency (1986), Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (1986/1987) and the Kościuszko Foundation (1990). Winner of the Independent Culture Committee of NSZZ Solidarność Award (1983) and the Jan Cybis Award (1991).
Works in collections i.a.: Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, National Museums in Warsaw, Krakow and Poznań, Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Zachęta – National Gallery of Art in Warsaw.
