Adam Marczyński
1908 - 1985 A Polish painter, graphic artist and stage designer. A Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Associated with Grupa Krakowska (Maria Jarema, Jerzy Kałucki, Jonasz Stern) and Grupa Krakowska II (i.a. Jerzy Bereś, Tadeusz Brzozowski, Tadeusz Kantor, Jerzy Nowosielski, Jan Tarasin). A winner of the competition at the Olympic Exhibition in London (1948) and the 2nd International Print Biennale in Ljubljana (1957).
Works in the collections i.a.: National Museum in Warsaw, Krakow, Poznań, Wrocław, Museum Sztuki in Lodz.
