Aleksander Kobzdej
1920 - 1972 A Polish painter, graphic artist, illustrator, stage designer. A Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Decorated with the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (1954) and the Gold Cross of Merit (1952). A winner of the competition at the 5th Biennale in Sao Paulo (1959) and Gottfried Herder award (1966).
