Jerzy Truszkowski
b. 1961 Performer, action artist, painter, installation creator, photographer, filmmaker, and video artist, curator. Graduate of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (diploma in 1986). Since 1983, he has been associated with the program of the Labirynt BWA Gallery in Lublin and the Kultura Zrzuty movement in the private alternative gallery Strych in Łódź (1983–1986). As Max Hexer, he has created numerous musical and vocal events. He is the author of many texts on art theory and artistic criticism, as well as three books: Critical Art in Poland (1999), Hysteria of Philosophy (2000), and Radical Artists (2004).
