Zdzisław Nitka
b. 1962 Painter, draftsman, sculptor, graphic artist, creator of artist's books and happenings. Associated with the neo-expressionist movement. Graduate of the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts (diploma in 1987). Currently an associate professor at the Department of Painting and Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. In 1997, he founded the private Museum of Expressionists in Oborniki Śląskie together with his wife, Jolanta Nitka.
Works in collections i.a.: National Museums in Wrocław, Poznań, and Szczecin, Lower Silesian Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Silesian Museum in Katowice, Jacek Malczewski Museum in Radom, POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw.
