Roman Owidzki
1912–2009 A Polish painter, graphic artist, illustrator, stage designer, teacher and theoretician of art. A Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he held his own Studio of Knowledge of Visual Actions and Structures. Author of numerous works on the methodology of teaching art. A winner of Jan Cybis Award (2007) and Cyprian Kamil Norwid Artistic Critique Award (2006). A holder of the French government’s scholarship (1965). He took part in Symposium of Artists and Scientists in Puławy (1966).
