Jan Tarasin
1926 - 2009 A Polish painter, graphic artist, draftsman, photographer, essayist. A Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Decorated with the Gold Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis (2005). A winner of Jan Cybis Award (1984), Cyprian Kamil Norwid Artistic Critique Award (1976), award at the 1st Print Biennale in Krakow (1960). A member of Grupa Krakowska II (i.a. Jerzy Bereś, Tadeusz Brzozowski, Tadeusz Kantor, Jerzy Nowosielski).
