Katarzyna Kobro
1898 - 1951 A Polish sculptor of German and Russian descent. Author of neoplastic Spatial Compositions, one of the most original phenomenon in the 20th-century world sculpture.
She co-founded the largest avant-garde groups in Poland referring to Malewicz's Constructivism and Supremacism - Blok (i.a. Władysław Strzemiński, Teresa Żarnowerówna, Mieczysław Szczuka), Praesens (Bohdan Lachert, Symon Syrkus) and a.r (Henryk Stażewski, Jan Brzękowski, Jan Przyboś). She was involved in Abstraction-Creation and Internationaler Ring der neuen Werbegestalter associations.
