Jankiel Adler
1895–1949 A Jewish painter, graphic artist, stage designer and poet of Polish descent. He worked in Warsaw, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Paris and London. A member of Jung Idysz group (Moshe Broderson, Marek Szwarc, Wincenty Brauner), Das Junge Rheinland group (Herbert Eulenberg, Arthur Kaufmann, Adolf Uzarski), a co-founder of Srebrny Wóz group (Natan Szpigel, Ignacy Hirszfang, Henryk Hirszenberg).
