Stanisław Fijałkowski
b. 1922 A Polish painter, graphic artist and teacher. A Professor and doctor honoris causa of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. Decorated with the Commander?s Cross with Star of the Order of Polonia Restituta (2013) and the Gold Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis (2005). A winner of Cyprian Kamil Norwid Artistic Critique Award (1977), Jan Cybis Award (1989), and awards at Polish and international exhibitions, i.a.: Print Biennale in Ljubljana (1977) and International Painting Festival in Cagnes-sur-Mer (1978).
