1906–1992 Painter of non-geometric abstraction, fabric designer, illustrator of books and magazines. She studied at the School of Artistic Industry in Kraków (1926–1928) and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1928–1933). A long-time lecturer at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź (1946–1978), where she founded and ran the Department of Printing on Textile. A representative of Tachisme and Gestural painting in Polish art.
