Dorota Grynczel
1950–2018 Artist, painter, she worked with artistic textiles. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1977). Scholar of The Pollock-Krasner Foundation in New York (1992) and the Foundation of Stefan Batory in Warsaw (1993). She was the first woman in history to become the dean of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2012–2016).
