Janina Kraupe - Świderska
1921 - 2016 Professor, painter, graphic artist. Associated with the Group Krakow and Katowice Group Oneiron (Henry Waniek, Urszula Broll-Urbanowicz Andrzej Urbanowicz). Since 1948 teacher of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He received numerous artistic awards.
The works in the collections of the National Museum in Krakow, Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw, Szczecin, the Museum of Art in Lodz, as well as in museums in Bochum, Dortmund, Dresden, Florence, Geneva, Kassel, Kiel, New York, Oxford Sa? Paulo, Vienna, Zwickau.
Selected exhibitions: Biennial of Art in Sao Paulo (1965), the Venice Biennale (1952, 1978), EXPO in Seville (1992), a retrospective exhibition at the City Gallery Arsenal (2003) and the National Museum in Cracow (2006).
