Wanda Paklikowska - Winnicka
1911–2001 Artist, abstract painter. She graduated from the State School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry in Kraków (1934) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1947). Associa- ted with her alma mater until 1989. From 1968 to 1974 she was the head of the Department of Painting, Drawing and Design
of Solids and Surfaces at the Faculty of Sculpture, from 1982 to 1983 she was the head of the Department of Drawing at the Faculty of Painting. In 1983 she received the title of associate professor. A leading representative of Matterism. Her paintings, mostly abstract, were arranged in series that intertwined with each other.
