The installation uses one of the typical components of the office interior, that is fluorescent tubes. The way of distributing them on the panel surface refers to the placement of the metal guy lines characteristic of the Spectra building. The harmony of the layout gives the impression of orderliness and peace, yet the essence of this work if negation or, as a matter of fact, its free associations. The installation resembles three Xs, which are, among others, a symbol of rejection by a jury in entertainment programmes in popular culture. The materialisation of this idea can be seen also in the architecture of social negation, prison architecture (Big Muddy River Correctional Center Ina, Illinois (IL), US), where the need for architectural transparency has created the X pattern. The refreshing symbol of a triple crossing expressed by crossed fluorescent tubes becomes, in this context, a negation that materially exists in space.
