With the joint exhibition of Teresa Rudowicz and Alina Szapocznikow, I guide the viewers toward the art of a sensitive gaze and attentive perception. Towards the creative works of two exceptional artists – women of the same generation, masters of spatial form, drawing, and collage. In this dialogue, they are accompanied by Jolanta Brach-Czaina, a philosopher, feminist, and the author of the essay collection Cracks in Existence from 1992, recognized as one of the most important philosophical texts of the 20th century.

Teresa Pągowska's paintings and creative stance exemplify the decisive and considered individuality that underpinned a significant work in the history of figuration in Polish art.

Narratives are exhibitions built exclusively from works belonging to the Starak Collection. They describe historically established relationships between artists and environments, while simultaneously revealing contexts closer to contemporary audiences.

The exhibition presents works by Jerzy Nowosielski from the collection of the Museum of Art in Łódź, the collection of Teresa and Andrzej Starmach, the collection of Anna and Jerzy Starak and other private collections.

Maria Jarema and Andrzej Wróblewski - two great personalities of Polish art. We invite you to view the exhibition in virtual space.
