We are classified as pretty and ugly.
Classified as mothers, wives and lovers.
As long and short.
As “she can make a good” or not yet.
No nail-biting! No hair-touching at the dinner table, we can do it only when we switch on temptation.
Red nails. The classic red colour known as love, seduction, emotions, but also fight, revolution.
Martyna Ścibior
The painting layer was formed of classic red nail polishes collected by the artist from working women. Those on management positions and those from offices and shops or those raising children. The composition bursts the canvas and expands dynamically in all directions. The worlds so different from each other, so far apart, meet and show their common denominator – equality that cannot disappear.
