Recognition, in a series of photographic interventions, undertakes an analytical work on the layers of the existing architectural structure. The materials of the surrounding functional structure are taken out and processed into their abstract conceptualisations; a form contradicting usefulness. Space, in the presented studio ecosystem, organises itself as a set of mutual references. Without embedment, surfaces lose their meanings – the façade has been detached from the frame.
