Wena
The ‘Wena’ Grant Programme is aimed at public secondary schools of fine arts. Its main objective is to promote artistic education of young people who wish to pursue a career in the field of arts. By organising competitions with grants for the implementation of original educational and artistic projects amounting up to PLN 18,000 gross, the Foundation opens up new development prospects for school students. In doing so, the Foundation also:
- Inspires school students to engage in independent creative activities;
- Fosters a critical and creative perception of art;
- Hones participants’ co-creation and teamwork skills;
- Supports teaching staff who provide education in the field of fine arts by popularising creative teaching methods;
- Enables learning through activities beyond the core curriculum.
Competition submissions are assessed by the Competition Jury according to criteria of educational and artistic value. Submitted projects may also score additional points for their social impact.
Our grant is designed to let students and their teachers focus on what they are the most interested in, passionate about and invigorated by, and also to make them feel more unfettered in their artistic endeavours.
