The creative experiment took place in June 2024. Selected works created as part of the project entitled “Human Nature, Creative Nature – how to see yourself and the world,” carried out by the Wojciech Kossak State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Łomża, awarded in the 5th edition of the ‘Wena’ Grant Program Competition entitled “What's new in art?”

Ewa Skłodowska, project initiator, artist, teacher of intermedia art at the State Art School in Łomża, and Wiesława Giedrojć, Member of the Board of the Starak Family Foundation
The exhibition presented dyed fabrics, paintings created using wood chips, and a film showing the effects of the original project and the sensitivity of art school students to observing nature in its creative processes. The blue sky reflected in the windows of the office building complemented the works, resonating with the cyanotype prints.

Ewa Skłodowska shared her reflections on the implementation of this educational and artistic project with us:
I've had a bit of a rest now. Art has many functions and manifests itself in many ways, each of which is important. In our project, it was important to experience them. To go through a journey. To be part of a process, a ritual to which we are invited. And everything that happened through the intellect can be separated and named: image, nature, sound, journey, recipient, creator, installation, object...
Not this time, it was supposed to be something simply shared and one, an experience. Both individual and collective. Where boundaries are blurred, where the recipient also co-creates through their presence, emotions, and experience.
This activity was made possible thanks to a group of amazing young people. They are simply beautiful young people, full of commitment, open to action, creation, experimentation, experience, and joy. I have a lot of appreciation for your group work, but I also see the contribution, commitment, and heart of each of you individually.
