Championship Dinner 2025
About motivations, dreams, life decisions, choices, and doubts... This was the theme of this year's Master's Dinner organized by the EFC Foundation and the Starak Family Foundation for the scholarship recipients of the last year of the “Horizons Scholarship” program. The meeting took place on October 3, 2025, in Warsaw.

It was masterful from the very beginning, when guests were welcomed by scholarship holder Anna Aleksiejczuk-Szotko from Białystok playing the viola.

The Champions' Dinner is a unique moment when people who were in the same place as you, dear scholarship holders, a few years ago, come together, said Grzegorz Kotowski, Member of the Board of the Starak Family Foundation, welcoming the participants.

The passionate and inspiring conversations began with a question posed to the masters: As a master in your field, what advice would you give to your younger self, standing on the threshold of adulthood?
I would wish to create opportunities for other masters to emerge. Authenticity is important in all of this, both in life and in art. I would also add a stop: Thinking. A stop because we are in a constant rush and the world forces us to make quick decisions, to be hasty, which is sometimes confused with wisdom, professionalism, and sharpness. It is very important to give yourself space to stop and think, so that decisions are made in a calm and conscious manner, said Ania Muszyńska, curator of the Starak Collection of the Starak Family Foundation / Spectra Art Space.

Thank you for sharing this special meeting and for the exchange of experiences between ambitious scholarship holders and distinguished personalities representing the worlds of culture, art, science, sports, business, and social affairs.

Listening to young people on the threshold of adulthood, we are convinced that they will make the best life and career choices. Why the best? Because they are their own!
