“More light” competition – model by Aleksandra Zawistowska
Aleksandra Zawistowska, a competition finalist, presents her work on the Plasmic project model.
We can look at the individual stages of building of her model, made of aluminium, glass and natural pearls. The sumptuous and visually intriguing form of the model is reminiscent of Baroque architecture. We can admire the innovative approach to shaping materials with different structures and optical characteristics. Using unconventional glass treatment methods based on traditional craft techniques and tools, the finalist has created a sculptural object, bordering on a work of art.
