Marek Sobczyk

b.1955 A Polish painter, graphic artist, theoretician of art and teacher. A co-founder of the group called Gruppa (Ryszard Grzyb, Paweł Kowalewski, Jarosław Modzelewski, Włodzimierz Pawlak, Ryszard Woźniak), the most important artistic group in Polish art of the 80s. A founder of Gravitational Cinema Manifesto (2012).

Works in collections: National Museum in Warsaw, Museum of Modern Art. In Warsaw, CSW Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź, Wyspa Institute of Art  in Gdańsk, Leon Wyczółkowski Museum in Bydgoszcz, Stadtmuseum in Dusseldorf.
